Then we&#8217;re on to getting our lead&#8217;s proto-<span class=\"character name\">Kasukabe<\/span> girlfriend (yes, I know, completely different creative group than <span class=\"title\">Genshiken<\/span>, but still) to participate in the next doujinshi event by being their salesgirl (with requisite cosplaying).  Lots of the old ultra-violence, a noble sacrifice, and an exploration of the ways fans show their love.  Still thoroughly enjoying things, but I&#8217;m not coming up with much to say without dragging <span class=\"title\">Genshiken<\/span> fully into the mix, which I don&#8217;t want to do without a fuller examination of the various titles in this vein(which actually sounds like something I want to hash out at some point).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Continuing last volume&#8217;s cliffhanger, we spend the better part of the volume wrapping it up, in requisite ridiculous fashion.
